Fees

My current fee for a 53 minute individual session is $130, with an additional $65 charged per 27 additional minutes in a session. For couples sessions my fee is $150 for the first 53 minutes, and $75 for each additional 27 minute period in the session. PLEASE NOTE: Beginning January 1, 2023, my fee for a 53 minute individual session is $140, with an additional $70 charged per 27 additional minutes in a session. For couples sessions my fee is $170 for the first 53 minutes, with an additional $85 charged per 27 additional minutes in a session. For telehealth visits I will provide you with a link to Stripe, so that you may pay at each appointment by credit card, HSA (health savings account) card, or debit card. If the amount of my fees precludes your seeking services we may be able to agree upon a reduced rate. I am open to seeing a limited number of clients at reduced rates at any given point in time so it will depend on whether one of those spots are available.

I do not bill insurance and am not currently an in-network provider with any insurer. However, I am happy to provide you with a statement that you can submit to your insurance provider to request reimbursement for an out-of-network provider. You will be responsible for the full fee at the time of the appointment. If your insurance provider agrees to reimburse you for services, they may also request copies of treatment records and an indication of a diagnosis. If you are considering this option I suggest you talk with your insurance provider to clarify 1) The nature of any treatment information they will seek and keep about you, and 2) The parameters of your out-of-network mental health coverage. 

•   You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency     items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital     fees.

•  Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day    before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you    choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

•  If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

•  Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
